Justin Cooke

Justin was born in Portsmouth in 1966 and moved to Dorset soon after.He studied for his BA Hons in Fine Art at Newcastle University. When he completed his studies in 1988 he began to work solely as an artist and has been doing so ever since. He now exhibits throughout the UK and abroad, taking part in such shows as the Royal Academy Summer show in London. Justin's paintings are painted in mixed media of watercolour and pastel. Layers of colour are built up over time which creates a distinctive texture and allows colours to blend together.
