Was born in 1942 in North London and studied at the Shrewsbury School of Art.
His misty seascapes and quiet Cornish harbours, devoid of people, convey the feeling of Cornwall, especially early in the morning before the visitors have arrived. This could explain the lack of people in his paintings, but a closer look will show that his work is full of characters, many friendly, some mysterious but they are built from granite and have roofs, windows and Chimney pots.
He lives in the far West of Cornwall, where he finds the harbours and natural textures a constant source of inspiration. His scenes of Bristol, featuring the Brunel Suspension Bridge and the Balloon Fiesta are specially commissioned by Innocent Fine Art.
